I make a double batch and wrap in foil then a freezer bag. They freeze beautifully!! My family & Friends love these!! I make extra to give away.

im definitely the type to use a recipe as a general guide so i did my own thing as well as referencing this recipe. i used sweet italian sausage and also added shallots, bacon, kidney beans, black beans, and power greens (chard, kale, spinach).

i absolutely LOVED using chicken broth. i cooked the sausage last (REMOVED from casings as directed), added the chicken broth, cooked for a couple mins, and added the cheese then the (jasmine) rice.

phenomenal flavors and textures. peppers were perfectly tender. everything was perfect and way better than anticipated. i highly recommend!!!!

I substituted marina instead of broth and used orzo pasta instead of rice. I also cut the huge peppers in half. This is a keeper.
